In Central Luzon of the Philippines lies the province of Tarlac. Landlocked, the province booms in terms of agricultural and sugar production.
They have at least 14 Universities or Colleges which proves that students, young people and the campus battlefield is just waiting for God’s people to come and minister.
The youth leaders of the youth ministry of San Rafael Brethren Church have been praying on ways to enhance their Spiritual gifts and others skills. They expressed to us how the leaders wanted to help the youth learn more. But they need help. They can’t do it alone and knowing that they will soon be the next leaders of the congregation in San Rafael, they are very willing to undergo the training by YMC for Campus Ministry.
After our first meeting with the elders and the possible Campus Ministry Team, the partnership immediately went to action and the youth are thankful to be given the chance to undergo training which they know they could also echo and would be of help to their youth ministry. This they see will help them be as future leaders and will inspire them to deepen their relationship with the Lord. The youth leaders have been praying for this. They said they really wanted to be effective Christians in their field as students and have a part in God’s commission even if they are still young.
The team is composed of Gerymar (Gem), Marlon (Alon), Angel & Grace. Four young individuals wanting to create an impact in their own battlefield. They have already finished their first module training and they are continually praying for strength.
